As there is the need for a new approach to healthcare, oriented to both professionals and consumers alike, MyOpenCare is taking the lead with the creation of an "open-source" community that allows for the sharing of relevant experiences and a wider network of specialized information.
Today, medical organizations that wish to share the contents of their large knowledge bases already utilize structures that are easily adapted to "open-source" communities. In the near future, electronic healthcare management will be routine and accessed through a multitude of digital formats.
MyOpenCare aims to provide the first digital platform for user-generated content that allows patients to individually plan their approaches to health-related issues by making the most of participation in a community of Users.It is designed to enable the management and sharing of any kind of digital medical content (like health records and treatment plans) in a simple way, even for non-specialists, and without compromising the User's privacy.
As the data bank grows, MyOpenCare will implement a vertical search engine with the potential to semantically enrich the data (interpretation and enrichment of diagnoses, etc.) in a full Web 3.0 vision.
